About

I’m a senior service designer with over 20 years’ experience helping organisations make sense of complex services.

I work mainly across the NHS, public sector and charities. Most of my work sits at the early stages, understanding messy problems, bringing people together and shaping a clear direction that teams can move forward with.

I’m particularly interested in how services work across boundaries. Different organisations, different roles, different pressures. That’s where things often break down. It’s also where the most meaningful improvements can happen.

My work combines user research, systems thinking and facilitation. I run workshops, map services, test ideas and help teams make decisions with confidence. I focus on practical outputs that people can actually use. Not just reports.

I care about prevention, behaviour change and supporting people earlier, before things escalate. A lot of my recent work looks at how services can reduce avoidable demand and better support both users and staff.

Over the years, I’ve worked with organisations such as the NHS, Nationwide, Sport Wales, the National Audit Office, and a range of national charities.

If you’re trying to understand a complex service, align stakeholders or move from insight to action, I can help.
